An interactive session for entrepreneurs was held today at CIED-IUST Foundation, under the direction of Director CIED, Prof. Parvez A. Mir.
Prof. Parvez A. Mir inaugurated the interactive session for entrepreneurs. During the inaugural part of the session, Prof. Mir introduced participants to the process of developing a unique brand voice and personality that resonates with their target market. He also discussed the importance of defining core values, mission, and vision.
Dr. Monisa Qadri, Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (DJMC IUST), delivered a brief session on Branding and Communication for Startups. She engaged with participants on topics such as Introduction to Branding, Understanding Your Brand, Target Audience and Market Positioning, Elements of Brand Communication, Creating a Compelling Brand Story, and Brand Communication Strategies. Dr. Qadri encouraged active participation through discussions and interactive activities and provided templates and worksheets for attendees to apply the concepts to their own businesses.
The session aimed to equip young entrepreneurs, especially STEM students, with practical skills and knowledge for effectively managing business finances.
The session was facilitated by an experienced trainer specializing in Business Communication, who brought a wealth of practical knowledge to share. Through interactive learning activities and personalized guidance, participants gained practical skills that are directly applicable to their entrepreneurial endeavors.
Overall, the session was highly interactive, featuring cooperative group activities, discussions, and real-life exercises to apply the concepts to participants’ businesses.
