An outreach program was held at IUST, during which students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nowgam Anantnag, visited the CIED-IUST Foundation.

Prof. Parvez A. Mir, Director of the CIED-IUST Foundation, engaged with the students to provide an overview of the department's mission and objectives. He emphasized CIED's dedication to enhancing educational opportunities and addressing students' unique needs through various outreach programs. This commitment reflects the Centre’s focus on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, equipping students with the skills essential for future success.

Mr. Syed Abdul Basit's session was both insightful and inspiring. He highlighted the critical role of creativity in problem-solving, an essential skill for fostering innovation. By emphasizing the development of an entrepreneurial mindset, he encouraged students to think critically and adaptively in today’s fast-paced environment. This approach motivates them to face challenges head-on and empowers them to seize opportunities with confidence.

The students also visited the Computer Science and Engineering Lab at IUST, an experience designed to enhance their practical skills and ignite their passion for technology and innovation. This lab visit plays a significant role in their educational journey, providing hands-on opportunities that bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

The overall visit was thoughtfully structured to provide valuable insights, resources, and inspiration, specifically tailored for female students. The program aimed to encourage them to explore and pursue careers in innovation and entrepreneurship.
