Solace International School Boonera Pulwama Visits CIED

An outreach program was held at IUST, during which students from Solace International School, Boonera, Pulwama, visited the CIED - IUST Foundation.

Prof. Parvez A. Mir, Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIED) at IUST, engaged with the students to provide an insightful overview of the department and its objectives. He highlighted CIED's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and addressing the unique needs of students through diverse outreach programs. His discussion emphasized the crucial role of innovation and entrepreneurship in creating a supportive learning environment, inspiring students to explore their potential and pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.

The students' visit to the Embedded Systems and Robotics Lab was incredibly impactful. Robotics and embedded systems are pivotal areas for future innovation, and experiencing them firsthand must have been both exciting and enlightening for the students.

The students' visit to the High-Performance Computing Lab must have been inspiring, especially with the opportunity to engage with advanced tools and projects. Connecting theoretical concepts with real-world applications can be a game-changer in understanding technology and innovation.

The students' visit to the Food Technology Lab must have provided practical insights into the food industry. Hands-on exposure to processes such as preservation techniques and product development can ignite interest and creativity.
