An outreach program was held at IUST in which students from Govt. Hr. Sec. School Pogal, Ramban, visited the CIED-IUST Foundation.

Prof. Parvez A. Mir, Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIED) at the CIED-IUST Foundation, engaged with the students to provide an insightful overview of the department and its objectives. His introduction highlighted the department's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and addressing students' specific needs through its outreach programs.

Prof. Parvez A. Mir elaborated on the goals of these programs, emphasizing their role in providing career guidance and fostering skills essential for future success. He showcased the dynamic world of innovation and entrepreneurship, illustrating how these fields offer diverse and exciting career paths. By exposing students to various aspects of innovation and entrepreneurial ventures, he aimed to spark their interest and inspire them to explore these areas further.

The students' visit to the Embedded Systems and Robotics Lab at IUST offered them a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies. This lab is integral in providing practical exposure and a deeper understanding of embedded systems and robotics, two fields pivotal for future technological advancements.

Additionally, the students visited the Computer Science and Engineering Lab at IUST. This visit was designed to enhance their practical skills and ignite their passion for technology and innovation. The lab experience plays a crucial role in their overall educational journey, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

The students also visited the Food Technology Labs at IUST, where they engaged in a hands-on exploration of the fascinating world of food science and technology. This visit provided practical insights into the processes, innovations, and applications within the food industry.

The overall visit was meticulously designed to offer valuable insights, resources, and inspiration specifically tailored for female students, encouraging them to explore and pursue careers in innovation and entrepreneurship.
