Awareness Program at Hajhad Hr. Sec. School Awantipora

The Skill and Capacity Development Cell (SCDC) of the CIED-IUST Foundation organized a one-day skill-mapping program at Hajahad Public Higher Secondary School, Awantipora. The program was attended by students and teachers alike, aiming to identify essential skills for entrepreneurship, such as creativity, problem-solving, communication, financial literacy, and resilience.

The session included practical workshops and activities to develop these skills while offering an overview of entrepreneurship. Key topics included the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs and the importance of cultivating entrepreneurial skills.

Dr. Syed Darakshan Majid, Coordinator of SCDC, addressed the participants, providing valuable insights into skill development programs. She shared information on accessing resources, mentors, and networks that support skill-building efforts. Additionally, she emphasized the significance of continuous learning and skill enhancement in fostering personal and professional growth.

Such awareness programs are designed to inspire students to take proactive steps toward improving their skills and capacities, ultimately empowering them to excel in their chosen fields or professions.
