Calligraphy Workshop Conducted by CIED IUST for Entrepreneurs

A one-day workshop for entrepreneurs was held at the CIED Foundation, IUST, under the direction of Director Prof. Parvez A. Mir.

The workshop, focused on calligraphy for entrepreneurs, was inaugurated by Prof. Parvez A. Mir. During the inaugural segment, Prof. Parvez A. Mir introduced the participants to the basics of calligraphy.

Ms. Saiqa Rashid, a skilled calligrapher, led a brief session on calligraphy. She taught participants various calligraphy styles, including traditional and modern brush techniques. The workshop included a hands-on practice session where participants learned about different calligraphy styles and the importance of calligraphy in various cultures. Ms. Rashid also explored techniques for creating beautiful lettering and guided participants through practical exercises on changing the background of a calligraphy board. The session utilized calligraphy pens/nibs, calligraphy ink, calligraphy paper, and practical sheets.

The calligraphy workshop aimed to equip young entrepreneurs with practical skills and knowledge in using calligraphy art.

The workshop was facilitated by an experienced trainer who specializes in calligraphy art and has extensive practical knowledge to share. Through interactive learning activities and personalized guidance, participants gained practical skills in calligraphy art that are directly applicable to their entrepreneurial endeavors
