3-Days Agripreneurship Program for Entrepreneurship Development

The Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Development (CIED) at IUST organized a three-day Entrepreneurship Development Program aimed at fostering entrepreneurial growth in the agricultural sector. The event, held at IUST Awantipora, focused on empowering participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to tap into the immense potential of agribusiness opportunities. This initiative is part of IUST's broader commitment to supporting youth entrepreneurship and innovation.

The program's inauguration was marked by  Prof. Parvez A. Mir, Director of CIED, Dr. Darakshan Andrabi and other industry experts. In his address, Prof. Parvez A. Mir underscored the importance of integrating technology and innovation into agriculture, noting the sector's growing significance in the New Startup Policy 2024. He encouraged participants to explore diverse agricultural opportunities and assured them of IUST’s continued support in their entrepreneurial journey. Prof. Parvez A. Mir also highlighted the crucial role of seed funding and strategic planning in transforming ideas into successful agribusiness ventures, while Dr. Darakshan Andrabi emphasized the significance of management skills, budgeting, and long-term vision in achieving sustainable growth in the agriculture sector.
